YAGP Galas

Spoleto Festival 2007

Teatro Romano, Spoleto, Italy
07/06/07

In 2007, one of the oldest and the most prestigious dance festivals in the world, Spoleto Dance Festival (Italy) has partnered with YAGP in an unprecedented effort to bring student performances to the world-renowned dance festival during its 50th Anniversary celebration on July 1-14, 2007 in Spoleto, Italy. Spoleto Dance Festival used YAGP’s “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala as a model, thus marking the first time in the Festival’s 50-year history that pre-professional student performances were featured as part of its traditional two-week program. The young performers were chosen by YAGP during its 2007 season semi-finals conducted in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and throughout the United States.
